1. Program Overview

The SRE Expertise Program by Anyshift is a platform for high-quality, expert-led content created by and for the SRE community. Participants — referred to as Creators — contribute their knowledge through written articles, talks, case studies, or other approved formats, helping Anyshift build a credible body of work that serves the broader reliability engineering ecosystem.

2. Participation Requirements

Creators are expected to contribute content that reflects genuine expertise and meets a high standard of accuracy and clarity. Anyshift does not prescribe a rigid publishing schedule, but consistent, meaningful contributions are what sustain the program. Accepted formats include written posts, video content, talks, and technical deep-dives — the focus is on substance and relevance, not volume.

  • Content must be original, technically accurate, and directly relevant to site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or adjacent disciplines.
  • Creators may choose their preferred formats and cadence, within reasonable alignment with the program's goals.
  • Submissions are reviewed by the Anyshift team before publication. Feedback will be provided when revisions are needed.

3. Content Rights

By submitting content to the program, Creators grant Anyshift a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share, distribute, and promote that content across Anyshift-owned channels, including the website, newsletter, and social media. Creators retain ownership of their work and will be credited appropriately in all published materials. Anyshift will not modify the substantive meaning of any submitted content without the Creator's approval.

4. Benefits

Participants in the SRE Expertise Program receive recognition through a dedicated Creator Spotlight feature on the Anyshift website and in program communications. Active Creators are invited to monthly community calls where Anyshift shares product direction and collects feedback — these sessions are held under NDA to allow open discussion. Participants also gain access to a private Slack community for ongoing exchange with other Creators and the Anyshift team, and are eligible to receive Anyshift swag kits.

5. Confidentiality

Monthly calls and any direct communications from Anyshift about unreleased features, roadmap priorities, or internal strategy are confidential. Creators agree to maintain that confidentiality and not to share, publish, or discuss such information outside the program. This obligation continues after a Creator leaves the program.

6. General Terms

Anyshift reserves the right to modify these terms, adjust program benefits, or terminate the program at any time, with reasonable notice provided to active participants. Anyshift also reserves the right to remove any Creator from the program whose contributions no longer meet the required standards or whose conduct is inconsistent with the program's values.

Participation in this program does not constitute an employment relationship, partnership, or agency arrangement of any kind. Creators participate voluntarily and are not compensated financially for their content.
