Engineering Manager

Lead our Paris-based engineering team alongside the founders (split between SF and Paris). Anyshift is an early-stage startup backed by founders of Docker, Datadog, Dataiku, and GitGuardian, building the AI-context layer for cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Paris engineering team. Set technical direction and build a culture of growth and ownership.
  • Build scalable infrastructure that integrates Terraform, Kubernetes, and AI agents end-to-end.
  • Drive product evolution from prototype to production.
  • Stay hands-on with code and systems design as the team scales.

What we're looking for

  • Cloud infrastructure experience on AWS or GCP, with IaC fluency in Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Direct, hands-on communication style.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ready to own surface area in a fast-moving startup.

Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Build the AI core of Anyshift's SRE agent: an LLM-powered system that queries our infrastructure knowledge graph and acts on it. Design, prototype, and ship features end-to-end, from concept to production.

What you'll do

  • Phase 1: build a chatbot that queries the infrastructure knowledge graph using graph RAG, embeddings, and text-to-Cypher approaches.
  • Phase 2: develop the building blocks of an AI SRE agent that ingests GitHub issues and opens pull requests autonomously.
  • Own features end-to-end, from initial concept to production deployment.

What we're looking for

  • Experience taking AI projects from prototype to production.
  • SaaS or similar production software environment.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
  • Genuine interest in the AI tooling that ships every week.
