Here's what we shipped to customers during the week of April 27, 2026: 6 product areas across the Anyshift Product Updates series. The theme was getting Annie out of the web app and into the surfaces your team already lives in, including terminals, IDEs, and Slack channels.
Run Annie from anywhere
CLI / TUI updates
Our CLI and TUI now mirrors the report and feedback flows that already existed in the web app:
- Kick off RCAs directly from the terminal.
- Generate and save custom report definitions, including arbitrary cron schedules.
- Rate Annie's answers with thumbs-up / thumbs-down feedback so the model improves over time.
Remote MCP updates
The remote MCP now exposes 4 new primitives, so any IDE or agent that speaks MCP (Claude, Codex, Cursor, custom agents) can:
- Save, schedule, cancel, and soft-delete custom report definitions.
- Run proactive reports and surface the results inline.
- Send feedback on chats, RCAs, and individual hypotheses.
One-click copy across the app
Every report, message, RCA, and hypothesis Annie produces is now copy-as-markdown ready, so you can paste a clean version into a ticket, a doc, or a Slack thread without reformatting.
New: Slack reports
You can now route any Annie report straight to a Slack channel, on demand or on a schedule. Combined with Annie Automation, this is what unlocks weekly digests, recurring on-call summaries, and project-scoped status updates with zero glue code.
Annie Automation, refined
Annie Automation, the rules engine that decides what Annie does in response to specific events, got a UX pass:
- A single rule can now target multiple sources and multiple channels, so you don't fan out the same logic across five copies.
- New scope tabs and a clearer default-behavior card make it obvious whether Annie auto-replies in a channel or only when she's tagged.
- New
trigger_reportandGenerate a custom reportactions tie automation directly to the new report tooling.
Tighter AWS onboarding
The AWS integration guide now ships a tighter, least-privilege IAM policy you can paste as-is. Fewer permissions, faster InfoSec review. Optional Terraform-state access is documented as a separate opt-in step for teams that want Annie to reason over .tfstate. Pairs well with the recent Anyshift on AWS Marketplace listing for teams that want to procure through their AWS account.
Prometheus custom headers
Prometheus integrations now accept arbitrary custom HTTP headers, which is useful for environments behind auth proxies, header-based tenant routing, or any setup where a bearer token alone isn't enough. The headers are stored encrypted on the credential and forwarded all the way through to the Prometheus MCP server when Annie queries metrics.
