## What is a Graph query?

- A Graph query is a request for data from your Anyshift graph. Use the plugin, Graph MCP, SDK, API or CLI: all share the same query allowance.

## Queries and runs

- With your own coding agent, graph reads use your Graph query allowance; your AI provider bills its model usage separately.

- An investigation run by Anyshift uses the agent run allowance. Use Graph MCP if your own agent only needs to retrieve evidence.
